10/24/2023: I enjoyed the pineapple/ham pizza with cauliflower crust. Update of August 18, 2023: I enjoyed a wonderful meal of House spaghetti. The spaghetti and meat sauce was great with lots of onions and green pepper. I had a delicious baklava for dessert. July 2022:The pastisio (Greek lasagna) was wonderful this evening. I ate one fourth and took the rest home for 3 more meals. Service was friendly and great. Our Lions Club members always enjoy our gathering here to eat.
I went to Gondola last week to get a pizza. I haven't eaten here many times, and it was the first time getting a pizza. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty it was. The crust was very thin on bottom, and they pile on the ingredients, so I had to eat it with a fork, but it was really good.
Decided to go back again and try something different since the pizza was so good. We got a Stromboli, chicken Parmesan, and meatball sub. They were all great!
The place was packed. Apparently it is a very popular place to eat.
The only negative (if you call this a negative) is that they had the tables very close together, and it was loud in there as a result of having so many patrons.
Personally, however, I'd rather have to sit close to another table, and deal with some noise, than have to wait an hour to be seated.
4 stars instead of five for questionable cleanliness. All of the wait staff and kitchen staff appeared disheveled, and the general appearance, decorating, and ambiance of the restaurant is very outdated and seems neglected.
The food was very good both times.
This was by far the worst steak and cheese sandwich I have ever had. I got the “steak all” one and it had tasteless sliced cheese melted over the top of jerky like steak, canned mushrooms, soggy green peppers, onions, and bread. I got fries on the side and bit into one and water came out of the fry because they were barely cooked, still cold in parts of some while also having a slight “freezer” taste to them. I had to stick them in the air fryer when I got home. I ate a few bites of the sub and my stomach was turning minutes later. The only good part was the tzatziki dressing I got on the side to dip my fries in and the lady that checked us out when we got there was nice. It takes a lot for me to complain this bad, but this was just extremely disappointing. I hear lots of people brag about how good this place is and can’t understand why. I got a gyro a while back and they use the strips (I’m guessing steak-ums). I’ve tried to like this place, but the only thing I would ever get from there would be a slice of their cakes. Those have always consistently been amazingly good at least.
Was here a few months ago, amazing food. The employee cleaning tables was so nice and the owner even came and talked with us, amazing service. If you can, you should eat here!
Did not enjoy eating here at all. The food wasn't hot, didn't taste or look good. Our server had to have just started minutes before with no prior training of the menu. Was charged a "customer assistance" fee to use my card to pay for a grossly overpriced meal. Do not recommend and will not return.
No sauce on the lasagna, the fettuccine Alfredo had no flavor. Was not worth the $39.00 we paid for it. Won't be back. Plus to add a 3.5% if you use a credit card. Glad we paid with cash.
We were here on a Wednesday evening. I ordered the Stromboli, and it was really good. My husband ordered a pizza and after taking a bite of my Stromboli, he wished he’d gotten it, too! Very good meal, very good service, and one of my favorite restaurants in Tullahoma.
Ordered calzon. It was awful. Charged for cheese, sauce and pizza crust. Then they charged for 6 meatballs that were not in there. Should have been 4.99 after they charged separately for the cheese, crust and sauce they charged 12.99. Since when do you charge extra for ingredients that should be in the calzon. I won't be back. It was not even good.
